Plug in your AWS, Azure, or GCP credentials once, and HAVA assembles a current network map fast. Set up a trusted read‑only role or service principal for each account to keep access scoped and secure. On import, Hava reads your metadata and draws topologies with native cloud icons, grouped by account, region, and virtual network. Toggle layers to reveal subnets, gateways, peering, NAT, firewalls, and dependencies. Select any node to inspect tags, properties, routes, security rules, and estimated cost. Use filters to focus on an environment (prod/stage), a tag, or a specific service. Share the view with teammates using role‑based permissions; limit who can see or edit planning overlays, and keep collaboration contained to the people who need it.
Keep the map up to date with scheduled refreshes every hour or trigger a sync after a Terraform apply or a template change. Version history captures each scan; use visual diff to spot new resources, modified routes, changed security rules, or removed nodes. For incidents, trace a path from the entry point to the workload: front door or load balancer to target, subnet, route table, network ACL, and internet/NAT gateways. Confirm whether 443 is reachable by checking listeners, target health, and rule order; then verify whether a subnet is public, which CIDRs are allowed, and where traffic exits. Narrow your search by resource ID or tag to jump straight to the suspect component. Export the snapshot and findings to CSV/JSON for tickets, or provide a PNG/PDF to leadership quickly. more
